Sweet and Spicy Cucumber Pickles
My last cucumber pickle recipe is a delicious asian flavoured sweet and spicy pickle with ginger, chilli and coriander seeds. Like all the others it is very yummy with a piece of toast and cheese, but it's flavour is so different to other cucumber pickles that I was really excited to discover this recipe. You get like that when you have hundreds of cucumbers to pickle.

Garden quick peeks
So far, there is no movement at all with the no dig poataoes. I'm not expecting shoots to burst through the straw overnight or anything. But I have had a quick peek under the straw and most of the potatoes look like they've only been under there for five minutes...

No dig potatoes
To finish off planting the solanums for the season, the potatoes finally went in the ground. Well, they went on the ground as I decided to use the no dig method. This is a method that has many fans, including the inspiring Peter Cundall, because it is so easy.
First we marked out the area, sprinkled sheep manure over the grass and then laid coffee bages over the garss and manure.
